My role

Lead Designer

Responsibilities included designing, prototyping, preparation of construction drawings, managing the carpentry, finishing, and site teams.

Empathize

The client, Mr.Ramakrishnan, approached us for a set of dining chairs for his home. Mr. Ramakrishnan is 60 and lives with his wife in an Old-Madras styled house in Chennai. He occasionally has his children and grandchildren visit a couple of times each month. He was interested in a new set of chairs for the dining table he currently owned.

Research

Learning more about how his house is styled, we listed the materials that would suit his table and other decors in the house - hardwood, and rattan.
